This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit of electrical errors or transmission range display, circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
01001 Possible Causes:
01001 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01001 Code
- Inspect all the connections system too rich at higher load, bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
