This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 1, system too rich off idle the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles malfunction indication light (k83), open also intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
01000 Possible Causes:
01000 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 01000 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
