Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit range / performance and load signal stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
00985 Possible Causes:
00985 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00985 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
