When you open signal line for tiptronic: electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open also camshaft position signal output, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
00981 Possible Causes:
00981 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 00981 Code
- Inspect all the connections system too rich at higher load, bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
