Diameter in engine relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), interruption/short-circuit after mass retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel pump circuit, electrical malfunction . On the other hand exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00979 Possible Causes:
00979 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 00979 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
