This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low or change exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too largely will delay your vw fault. |
00977 Possible Causes:
00977 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00977 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
