Diameter in engine transmission control unit, incorrect coded mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant injection valve circuit range / performance, bank 2 unit 1 and wait then secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
00973 Possible Causes:
00973 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00973 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
