When you open vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel fired heater, disabled you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
00972 Possible Causes:
00972 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00972 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
