Diameter in engine system too lean at higher load, bank 2 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, higher limit not reached and wait then o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1 is the final reason of the code. |
00972 Possible Causes:
00972 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00972 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
