Accumulated in electronic control units so data-bus powertrain, implausible message from brake controller mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor event data recorder request, circuit / open and evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00967 Possible Causes:
00967 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00967 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft position signal output, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
