Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more injection pump timing offset also motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
00962 Possible Causes:
00962 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00962 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module throttle actuator position, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
