The problem is about injection pump, fuel calibration not learned retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high and fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
00957 Possible Causes:
00957 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00957 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from adr control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
