This something to do with the intake camshaft timing load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low or change fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, higher limit not reached will delay your vw fault. |

00957 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
