The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil cylinder 16, high circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance or fuel level sensor 2, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
00953 Possible Causes:
00953 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00953 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
