The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), open circuit or change exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
00953 Possible Causes:
00953 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 00953 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
