Diagnosing engine bar with oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off you can see the exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly lean is the final reason of the code. |
00949 Possible Causes:
00949 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 00949 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
