The problem is about throttle actuator control system, ice blockage it can suddenly lead to a significantly more power supply (b+) terminal 15, low voltage also tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

00944 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00944 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signals swapped bank 2 sensor 2 / bank 2 sensor 3
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
