Diameter in engine intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected or change fuel rail sensor (g401), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
00940 Possible Causes:
00940 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 00940 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
