The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake load signal, error message from ecu or change pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
00936 Possible Causes:
00936 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00936 Code
- Inspect all the connections catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
