This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system hydraulic pressure sensor 2, range / performance you can see the o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
00925 Possible Causes:
00925 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00925 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
