The problem is about kick down switch malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground . On the other hand fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
00923 Possible Causes:
00923 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 00923 Code
- Inspect all the connections controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
