The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault tiptronic switch recognition (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground and wait then engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
00902 Possible Causes:
00902 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00902 Code
- Inspect all the connections reversing light, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
