The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high and ignition coil 'g' primary control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
00891 Possible Causes:
00891 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 00891 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
