This code were stamped on VW Engine case charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit low and load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
00889 Possible Causes:
00889 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00889 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
