This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system generator shut-off, short to b+ . So for next power supply, voltage high voltage is the final reason of the code. |
00884 Possible Causes:
00884 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00884 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
