Accumulated in electronic control units so transmission control unit, incorrect coded mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel supply heater, control circuit / open or change solenoid ev 7 (n94), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
00879 Possible Causes:
00879 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00879 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor a, circuit error message from engine controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
