00879 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so metering pump for cleaning solution, faulty retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation . So for next intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |

00879 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 00879 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "a", low flow / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
