This something to do with the intake camshaft timing load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), range / performance also torque management feedback signal "a" will delay your vw fault. |
00876 Possible Causes:
00876 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 00876 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger control module, faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
