The problem is about transmission coolant circuit relay, intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit / open you can see the power supply, voltage low voltage will delay your vw fault. |
00874 Possible Causes:
00874 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00874 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 1 (n366), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
