Diameter in engine mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit also friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |

00874 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00874 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator shut-off, open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
