Diagnosing engine bar with throttle position output, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor camshaft position signal output, circuit low and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
00870 Possible Causes:
00870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00870 Code
- Inspect all the connections catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
