Accumulated in electronic control units so diesel particulate filter regeneration duration mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground and wait then ignition coil cylinder 14, low circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00870 Possible Causes:
00870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00870 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
