00870 Possible Causes:
00870 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00870 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, forced limited power
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
