When you open data bus powertrain, missing message from central electronics the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit or change intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
00867 Possible Causes:
00867 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00867 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
