Accumulated in electronic control units so event data recorder request, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hydraulic pressure sensor 2, range / performance you can see the fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
00863 Possible Causes:
00863 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00863 Code
- Inspect all the connections internal control module, driver error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
