Diameter in engine diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system signal for back-up lights, short to b+ also power supply, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |

00862 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

What To Check After Fixing 00862 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
