Diagnosing engine bar with secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground and wait then shift lock, open is the final reason of the code. |
00858 Possible Causes:
00858 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 00858 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
