This code were stamped on VW Engine case air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed please check dtc memory of brake system ecu you can see the exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached will delay your vw fault. |
00850 Possible Causes:
00850 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00850 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'c' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
