This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit high and wait then turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal low is the final reason of the code. |
00849 Possible Causes:
00849 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 00849 Code
- Inspect all the connections air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
