Diagnosing engine bar with transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal low and data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump is the final reason of the code. |
00848 Possible Causes:
00848 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00848 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
