The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault starter interlock, circuit short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so particulate trap bank 2, efficiency below threshold or change reset-resistant limp-mode active is the final reason of the code. |
00847 Possible Causes:
00847 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00847 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 13, low circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
