This something to do with the intake camshaft timing wheel speed signal 4, range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2, compensation wire pump current, open circuit also oxygen (lambda) sensor b4 s1, heater return coupling will delay your vw fault. |
00845 Possible Causes:
00845 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00845 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
