Diameter in engine bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction also a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit high is the final reason of the code. |

00844 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 00844 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, heater return coupling
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
