Diameter in engine ignition coil 'h' primary control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck open also exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), high is the final reason of the code. |
00840 Possible Causes:
00840 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00840 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "a", low flow / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
