00831 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+ or change ng high pressure valve (n372), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |

00831 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 00831 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
