This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction you can see the pressure control solenoid 5 (n233), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
00830 Possible Causes:
00830 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00830 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
