This something to do with the intake camshaft timing mil control circuit, open / short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground . So for next valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), regulation range exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
00821 Possible Causes:
00821 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00821 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
