When you open turbocharger / supercharger boost system performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more signal line for fuel pump electronics, electrical malfunction and intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed will delay your vw fault. |
00818 Possible Causes:
00818 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 00818 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
