Accumulated in electronic control units so brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake air temperature sensor 1/2 correlation also fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
00817 Possible Causes:
00817 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 00817 Code
- Inspect all the connections boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
