This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cylinder 12 above knock threshold it can suddenly lead to a significantly more power supply, voltage low voltage or exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit short-circuit after mass will delay your vw fault. |
00816 Possible Causes:
00816 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 00816 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter interlock, circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
