Accumulated in electronic control units so data bus powertrain, no message from transmission controller (tcu) causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit or ecm/pcm power input, signal is the final reason of the code. |
00814 Possible Causes:
00814 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00814 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
