When you open secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil 'k' primary control, short to plus and direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
00813 Possible Causes:
00813 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 00813 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
