This something to do with the intake camshaft timing power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump or change vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
00812 Possible Causes:
00812 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 00812 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan control module 2, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
