00812 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbo/super charger over-boost condition mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle actuator control system, forced idle also throttle actuator control motor, control circuit is the final reason of the code. |
00812 Possible Causes:
00812 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 00812 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch pedal position (cpp) switch (f194), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
