This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor power supply terminal 30, voltage too low or change exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached will delay your vw fault. |
00804 Possible Causes:
00804 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 00804 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
