00803 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake data-bus powertrain, missing message from brake control module and exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak is the final reason of the code.

00803 Possible Causes:

00803 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
  • Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

What To Check After Fixing 00803 Code

  • Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
