008 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off also transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal will delay your vw fault. |
008 Possible Causes:
008 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 008 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch recognition, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
