008 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+ also o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, performance is the final reason of the code. |
008 Possible Causes:
008 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 008 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
