When you open accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 also transmission control unit, incorrect coded will delay your vw fault. |
00799 Possible Causes:
00799 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 00799 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
